"CFCS-VI" - issues "16 invites"

Unlike Pearl Harbor - this is not a "sneak attack" on the BCS - they were warned!

 

    The sixth College Football Championship Series, "CFCS-VI", title game for the "2009" NCAA Division 1-A (FBS) "playoff season" and susequent "Invitational" will be played in the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday night, Jan. 10, 2010. - Out of "25 eligible and qualified teams" the following "16" were invited to participate in "CFCS VI". - Succeeding the "first round" of play, the line-up for the "second round" by location is:

 
       CAPITAL ONE BOWL            
 
  Ohio State  vs  Central Michigan
       (winner vs winner of)
  Cincinnati  vs  Georgia Tech
 
         COTTON BOWL
 
       Texas  vs  Florida
      (winner vs winner of)
     Alabama vs Houston
 
           SUN BOWL
 
         TCU  vs  Troy
      (winner vs winner of)
         Iowa vs BYU
 
         HOLIDAY BOWL
      
     Boise St.  vs  Virginia Tech
       (winner vs winner of)
      Penn St  vs  Oregon 
 
    A fantasy? - Of course it is! - However, also one that is based upon the facts and the reality of a "2009" college football season. It's both a practical and logical "fantasy" which is completely "do-able" for future seasons. - How do I know?-  Because I've been running the computer program on this for the past six seasons; also, because I wrote the book - you know - Prelude to The Playoff  - the one anyone having anything to do with the BCS doesn't want you reading. - A timely read (possibly a great Christmas present), especially with the "BCS pot" again boiling over; with pending "congressional hearings" to deny the BCS from advertising its product as a "national championship"; and, with their "non-bowl participating" charter member's recent "boiling" of its own head coach.
