THIS HAS GOT TO STOP

I have had enough. Tenuta has not done anything since being Corso's biggest recruit 2 years ago. I was with Paul Johnson who is now at Ga Tech and he said there was no way he was keeping him. Why are we so lucky to have him. It was as if ND was playing a team that just likes to run and practiced this week on that and NOT a team that runs a triple threat option. Does anyone have Urban's cell phone number. or Maybe Charlie's son who apparently is preparing to coach at the next level as he is on the sidelines every game with headset on and ready to call plays. What a joke. Swarbick better be prepared to make changes NOW, and Weis should resign. Our defense is digusting. I love ND too much to go through this every season. You see a team like Ga Tech who has similar academic standards and they have been better than us for years.

  • I agree with the part about Tenuta as he has done nothong to improve our defense that I can see.  It is like we almost always react instead of attack on defense.  And PLEASE do not tell me we don't have the athletes.  As for Weis in general I think he just doesn't get it.  ND was wrong for not so much hiring him but bringing in someone who has never been a head coach before.  I don't care who you are or who you coached under or how many S bowl rings you have there is too much to deal with as a head coach and my guess is that multiplies 5 fold at ND.  Aside from all of that the proof is that he is 3 and 16 against ranked teams...that just isn't getting it done.  Our schedule has softened (which I do not care for) so there is no reason not to be in the BCS bowl hunt.  As for the schedule give me a 8-4 team that plays Penn State, Miami, and a LSU instead of a 10-2 that plays UConn, Wash State and Navada.  Please go look at Lou's schedule during his first couple years.  As for a replacement please bring in someone who 1) has head coaching experience and not hust for a year or two 2) Has a little bit of excitement to his personality 3) and will do thiings the right way when it comes to academics and bringing in the right people.  I hope ND can realize we need a change.  5 years is long enough and he surely has had time to get his guys in there.  I think the brass at ND were hesitant to let hin go last year as they did not want to be percieved as a school with a rep for firing coaches to quickly.  No one now would blame them.
