Who else thinks this guy is going to become a legend here?
In his three seasons as the Bearcats' coach, he posted an impressive
Let’s credit Jack Swarbrick for getting it right this time. True enough Brian Kelly will only become a legend if the wins substantially outweigh the loses, but as FootballFan said, “So far so good.” The arrogance of Mike Wadsworth thinking Notre Dame can win with any coach simply because it’s Notre Dame started the downward spiral of the football program that we still haven’t recovered from, i.e. Bob Davie. Then there was Kevin White who flat out was a buffoon from his hiring choices to his contract negotiations, i.e. Ty Willingham and Charlie Weis. (He should've stuck with George O'Leary) The Irish could have very well landed Urban Myer or a Brian Kelly-like coach several years ago if Jack was at the helm. Brain Kelly will put Notre Dame Football back on top and we will be in the national championship hunt every year like days gone by. When Ara and Lou came aboard you just knew in your gut that something special was going to happen under these greats. I get the same feeling with Brian and I think Irish fans who have survived the highs and lows are feeling the same thing right about now.
